A 2023 Year-End Recap from Derry Bros Customs Clearance

As 2023 draws to a close, we at Derry Bros Customs Clearance Ltd. find ourselves reflecting on a year filled with growth, gratitude, and wonderful connections. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincerest thanks to all who have supported our journey throughout the past twelve months.

A Year of Connection and Growth:

This year, we had the pleasure of participating in key trade exhibitions and events, including Transport Logistics in Munich (May 2023) and Multimodal in Birmingham (June 2023). These platforms not only allowed us to showcase our customs declaration expertise but also provided invaluable opportunities to connect with industry experts and forge meaningful relationships.

Our commitment to diversity and inclusion also extended beyond external events. We actively participated in multiple conferences hosted by Women in Business, NI Chamber, BITA, and more fostering an environment of inclusivity within our industry.

Sharing Laughter, Supporting Causes:

At Derry Bros Customs Clearance, we believe in balancing hard work with moments of joy and giving back to the community. In August 2023, we organised a Sponge Day, a lighthearted yet impactful event where our Operations Director, Colin, and Customs Manager, Matt, volunteered to be sponged, raising funds for Women's Aid Armagh Down. In December, we embraced the festive spirit with a Christmas Jumper Day, raising funds in support of Southern Area Hospice.

Awards and Recognition:

We're also very proud and grateful that our efforts have been recognised with prestigious awards. Derry Bros Customs Clearance received the Business Eye Awards for "Small Business of the Year," with a notable mention as "Highly Commended: Family Business of the Year." Additionally, we were finalists in esteemed awards such as the Export & Freight Awards and The Irish Logistics & Transport Awards.

Welcoming New Faces and Celebrating Returns:

As our team continues to evolve, we are delighted to welcome new members and celebrate the return of valued colleagues after their maternity leaves. Each individual brings a unique perspective, enriching our collaborative environment.
