We are supporting the transition to the new GB Safety & Security (S&S) import controls by significantly reducing the cost of processing declaration requirements for our customers. By leveraging our advanced digitalisation and automation capabilities, we can help haulage operators cut third-party charges by as much as 50%, while also avoiding delays, penalties and disruption associated with the upcoming rules.

“We have invested heavily in our digital infrastructure over the past year so we are fully prepared to support our customers as they adapt to these latest customs requirements for goods arriving from the EU,” explains Colin Robb, Head of Operations & Sales. “Our solutions enable operators to minimise risk, maintain compliance and stay competitive, all while keeping processes efficient and cost-effective.”

From 31 January 2025, S&S measures will become mandatory for all goods entering Great Britain as part of the UK government’s plan to strengthen border controls and ensure that imported goods meet national safety and security standards. Failure to meet these declaration requirements may result in significant delays, penalties or even rejection of goods at the border.

This shift in requirements represents an opportunity to modernise and strengthen customs processes. By combining our digital capabilities with hands-on expertise, we are ready to support our customers through a new era of efficient and reliable trade operations.
